Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain of the 2012 Fierce Five and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman won three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. In addition, she took her bronze on the balance beam. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to win the most medals at the Olympics. The year she was in 2016, along with her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals at team events. Her silver medals came in the floor individual and all-around competitions. Following the 2nd Olympics, she took three years off from gymnastics. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American teams at two World Championships. Her favourite event is flooring exercise. The gymnastics training began at the age of two years young. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She hopes to build an enviable career in the field of fashion. Her signature leotards along with socks and other garments are expected to be enlarged to include other items in the future. She is writing a book titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
